It’s 2021, we have continued our DDC Heroes Scheme which is a part of our Wellbeing Initiative. We have already had so many amazing nominations which we are looking forward to sharing with you…

Our Heroes Scheme gives us the opportunity to recognise our teamhard work and achievements, all employees are welcomed to nominate their colleagues and it gives us the chance to gift prizes to the deserving winners.

We hit the ground running in January with seventeen Hero nominationsa testament to the motivation of the team as we started the year. Out of the many nominations we rewarded Blake Humphrey, Team Manager who was nominated by the whole of his team for the way he adapted to his role from Lead Advisor to Team Manager and hiefforts to always promote positivity amongst the team. Blake also received client feedback, where they wanted to express that Blake’s contributions and his ideas are genuinely great! Every interaction and discussion I’ve had with him; he has always brought something innovative to the table. He really cares, wants to do well, and knows the product inside out. So yeah, needless to say I’m a huge Blake fan.

In February, we had two heroes Charlotte Moody and Callum Precious. The team couldn’t choose between the two as they had both equally brought so much to the campaigns that they were working on delivering exceptional results and supporting the whole team.

Charlotte Moody was newly appointed to her role. She has trained and nurtured quite a few of the team members that are new to the industry and has done this tirelessly, with no fuss. The team felt she is always there to ask questions of and with a cheery disposition making her their Hero of the month.

Callum Precious was nominated for his work ethic, his consistent, professional, and positive approach to work is an “inspiration to see and he really deserves to be recognised for this.” In his new role he has been offering amazing support to the team and has played a key role in delivery training to the new starters. Everyone on the campaign feel very lucky to have him!

More recently, this March we celebrated our fourth hero in three months. Our March Hero was Shaun Rickards who has only recently moved into the IT department, Shaun is on site every day and has been a great help to his colleagues with many different issuesHis colleagues described him as approachable and very helpful no matter what they need help with and no matter how busy he is. Which is why he wonthe hero prize for being such a great asset to the IT team.

The DDC Hero initiative is a scheme that is continuing to fill us with great pride and satisfaction. To be able to acknowledge and reward our team based off of their colleagues and our clients opinions is fantastic, especially throughout the pandemic where some of the team, have had to work remotely it’s been even more vital to recognise achievements.

Well done to our DDC OS Heroes so far and we look forward to seeing who will be next
