One year in, it was great to see John Callachan, Managing Director of DDC OS UK discuss his experiences...
So, I have made it through my first year as Managing Director of DDC Outsourcing Solutions. It has been an amazing learning experience and I am thankful to my fantastic team, and our clients and partners that have supported me through it.
Feeling proud that we have:
- Added more than 120 extra jobs in the local area
- We have launched our Wellbeing initiative for physical health and mental health in the workplace
- This year we have over 90 people completed or taking part in additional qualifications (NVQ etc.)
- We have been approved as a Disability Confident Employer
I feel that as each day passes, DDC OS grows stronger and more passionate. We have had the pleasure of working with some amazing businesses and opportunities, testing my team and I all the way. Every day brings a new lesson! Whilst we pride ourselves on the work we deliver, of course, we make some mistakes along the way but we work through them, learn and improve, and we are better for them.
This year we have seen our experience and offering to the Energy market grow and we have helped improve customer experience and reduce the cost to serve. I am really excited for 2018 so that we can accelerate our support in this market and offer ways to continue to positively affect our clients and partners in this sector.
I couldn`t end without saying how great it has been to see our multi-language service office grow from strength to strength, supporting over 30 different languages and some really complicated business processes.
At DDC we really believe that our people are our strength and I am extremely proud to be part of DDC OS and The DDC Group.
Wishing everyone a happy new year.
