On Monday 31st October, Halloween fever hit DDC OS! Many activities were planned, all designed to raise money for local charity, Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice.
With the building decorated from floor to ceiling in spooky themes, the staff here really got into the spirit and joined in the fun and games that included;
• Pie the Manager
• Apple bobbing
• Best dressed competition
• Halloween Bake-off
• Pumpkin Carving
• Sponsored Miss DDC costume
• Chocolate temptation raffle
• Full & Half day leave raffles
The Pie the Manager event was a big success, with everyone bidding to take a shot at their manager! We saw some fantastic costumes and choosing the top three was a real challenge.
We would like to extend our thanks to Bluebell Wood Hospice for their support, also special mentions to Shaun Davenport and Dani Franklin for their superb fundraising efforts. Not to mention thanking all of those who got involved and donated.
Early estimates look to be around £1500, which will be doubled by our Managing Director Colin Gray, taking the total to an estimated £3000.
