Each year DDC Outsourcing Solutions selects a charity to which it will dedicate a variety of events and time to, raising as much money as possible along the way. This year’s chosen charity is Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice. This charity is dedicated to supporting children and young adults with shortened life expectancy and a range of medical conditions. Their work is vital to many families across the UK and we are very proud to support them.
A number of events have been held internally already this year including some exciting competitions during the Easter holidays. On Saturday, April 30th Bluebell Wood held its third consecutive 5km Colour Dash fun run at Rother Valley Country Park. DDC OS are delighted to report that we had 8 people participate in the event; Gemma Shipley, Claire Elliott, Sarah Godfrey, Rob Norman, Jason Hall, Chara Lee Pidduck, Jayne Humphreys and Nisha Singh.
Online donations reached over £285 and cash donations took that figure to over £550! Congratulations to those who took part and a huge thank you to all those who donated.
