THE CHALLENGE



Volume of information and speed of change are two of the main challenges specified by the client. The client was looking for a company to undertake two specific projects which they were currently fulfilling in house;



  • One involving scanning and processing of documents in high volume, in a short time scale


  • The other involving data capture with rigour and fast turnaround

The key requirements were handling volume in short time spans with rigour and efficiency, which DDC Outsourcing Solutions has been able to continually over perform on by producing faster, superior and cost effective document processing.

    THE SOLUTION



    DDC Outsourcing Solutions established data capture systems with rigorous validation checks. A robust tracking system was developed as a mechanism to provide ‘real time’ management reporting and assist with operator efficiencies. The workflow consists of receipt, document sorting and validating, follow-up procedures if required information has not been sent, scanning of hard copy documents and data capture onshore. Once processed and information captured, documents can be securely destroyed, returned or sent on.

    The client handles over 2 million images per year and at peak deals with 36.4 million characters over a 4 month period, with accuracy levels of 99.80% for characters captured.
